Sangha Woodland Meeting

Please join us this Friday, Sept 9, at 6 pm for a walk-through of the sangha woodland and to discuss how to move forward with continuing care of this site. Possible topics include: general direction, specific guidelines for taking care of the woods; evaluation of last years' efforts; addition of new plants for the fall; trees to come down, if any, and how; plan for recycling autumn leaf fall in the woods; vision for Youth garden plans; engaging local artists in creation of natural fence "sculptures" to protect plants from deer munching; etc.

All are welcome! We hope to build on this summer's efforts to develop a cohort of people interested in continuing stewardship of this remarkable urban forest. Snacks provided.
