A monk asked Ummon, “What will happen when the leaves fall and the trees become bare?” Ummon said, “Golden wind!” Join us for the first three-day sesshin of fall kessei. As autumn paints the trees brilliant colors, golden leaves swirl down, and the breeze turns cooler, join us to clear, refresh, and refocus your heart and mind.

Shinge Roshi will lead this sesshin in person at DBZ, with Chigan Roshi and Hokuto Sensei participating via Zoom. Off-line time is included for meals, work practice at your homes and kinhin.

While we encourage full-time participation, you may join us for as much as you can.
