Buddha’s Birthday!
April 12 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
After morning service and a period of zazen, we’ll gather in the Forman House Dharma Hall for a family-friendly ceremony, starting at 11:15. Children are welcome. We’ll hear the story of Shakyamuni Buddha’s birth, and we’ll take turns bathing the Baby Buddha figure with sweet tea, singing a special verse. Then we’ll enjoy a potluck lunch and birthday cake.
