Parinirvana Day, Zazen, Potluck Lunch

We begin with Parinirvana Ceremony, which commemorates the final passing into Nirvana of Shakyamuni Buddha. Bring white socks or tabi; ordained, shinigi. The ceremony is followed by two periods of zazen and then temple caretaking.
Around 12:30 p.m. we’ll gather in the Forman House for a potluck lunch before Dharma Study at 1 p.m. If you bring food, be sure it is vegetarian and labeled if it contains gluten or dairy.
