All-Day Sit; Mandala Day, Dokusan, Eido Roshi’s Commemoration, Teisho

This special all-day sitting begins with a Mandala Day service that includes live shakuhachi (bamboo flute) by Marco Burmester. Shinge Roshi will offer dokusan during zazen. At noon, formal lunch will be served.

The afternoon will start with sarei (tea) and zazen, followed by a memorial commemoration for the Ven. Eido Tai Shimano Roshi and a teisho by Shinge Roshi.

Please bring white socks or tabi, and a KN-95 mask for dokusan and chanting.

The Fee for in-person all-day attendance is $25 and includes lunch.

Morning Only Option (no lunch): No fee, but let us know you won’t be eating with us. Donations are welcome.

Online Option: You are welcome to join us for the ceremonies, teisho and zazen in the zendo via Zoom. There is no fee, but donations of any amount are deeply appreciated.
