Wellness courses currently taught at the Zen Center:
Conscious Stress Reduction: Learn to reduce stress and promote personal wellness through meditation and mindfulness training, yoga and stretching, body awareness, and methods of integrating change into daily life. The training helps with daily stress of many types, high blood pressure, chronic pain, and major life-changing situations.
Deep Presence: An introduction to Zen meditation for wellness. The class includes instruction in sitting and walking meditation with an awareness of breath and posture, helping participants to enter into deep relaxation. Group discussion focuses on how we can break free of old patterns and cultivate our innate wisdom and compassion, no matter how difficult the circumstances of our lives.

Iyengar-style Yoga Classes: Friday 5:30 pm and Sunday 1:00 pm
Movement Meditation Class: Saturday mornings from 10:30-11:30 am. based on Tai Chi and Ten Stages of Movement Meditation.
