Ikebana is the ancient Japanese art of flower arranging and is associated with meditation.

This workshop will introduce the principles of Japanese Ikebana and demonstrate the Sogetsu style Ikebana. How does the flower becomes me express this style of arrangement? Let’s learn, practice and experience Japanese Ikebana and Japanese culture together.

The workshop will be led by Jia Man, Instructor of Japanese and Chinese in the Deparment of Foreign Languages at Le Moyne College in Syracuse.

The Workshop Fee is $20 and includes all materials. Space is limited; register early. There are 3 ways to register: 1) Send a check for $20 per attendee made out to Zen Center of Syracuse and mail to 266 W.
