Community Forum on I-81 Issues

Community partner ACTS hosts their second Community Forum. The focus of the evening will be transportation issues, and Sangha member Fugan Sam Gorden is featured as a speaker. For more information about these events, please visit the ACTS Moving People Coalition.

This forum will feature an introduction to the concepts of BRT (Bus Rapid Transit), with panelists responding to the presentation and providing their perspectives on I-81 issues. A brief video will be shown, and BRT developments in the Capital District will be explained. The panelists will include Mark Nictora, Town of Salina Supervisor & spokesperson for Save81; Rev. Melvin Baker, ACTS President and spokesperson for Moving People; Samuel Gordon, Director of Planning for the Town of Dewitt. There will also be a representative from the ReThink81 group.
