This annual celebration of is a family-friendly event; bring your family and join us for a play performed by our very own Dharma Kids, flowers, and cake!
On Sunday, April 10, 2011, at the Zen Center of Syracuse, we will celebrate the birth of Shakyamuni Buddha with chanting, meditation, bathing the baby Buddha statue with sweet tea, a light lunch, and a nature walk for children of all ages.
We will have our regular Sunday morning service in the Carriage House Zendo, starting promptly at 9 a.m. Zazen (meditation) will follow from 10 to 10:45. Guests may join us at 9, or may gather in the Main House between 10:30 and 10:45. We will all participate in the Buddha’s Birthday ceremony there. Read more »
