Frozen Coast

Metaphors of intimacy have guided Christian Sunde's photographs for the past quarter century. Although his subjects are generally family members, friends and lovers, in his photographs they become personified archetypes. Sunde (born 1939) was a Syracuse resident for many decades, and now lives and works in Maine.
